I'm pretty sure Electronic Arts could set it as a condition to distribute Alice 3. Hell, they could even just state in their contract: [..] "EA" will distribute "The Game" through any means deemed effective, including but not limited to: retail stores, web stores, digital downloads, tele-transportation, telekinesis or spontaneous appearance. [..]
[..] "Spicy Horse" is obligated to facilitate "EA's" distribution labors in the full extent of it's capabilities, through hardware and/or software creations and/or supplements to "The Game" during and after it's stipulated release cycle [..] ... and it's either that, or no Alice. Hell, they could probably do it without Spicy Horse's intervention; as far as I've seen (technically speaking), Origin packs games as if it were a sort of digital box with a sort of DRM that doesn't need much (or any) integration with the game. So they could just say "f*ck you, we'll sell it through Origin whether you like it or not". All we can do is... just not use Origin. I certainly hope this will not be the case. Plus, how can one just stop using Origin when EA's nowadays-games can't even be played without it? You can always try finding those Origin games on Steam or elsewhere. That means buying the games again, but what else can you do other than pirating? Buying retail copies, maybe...

That sounds like something I could do perhaps. But at the same time, I'm bad with things like this, have very little knowledge. And then also, I just that there is a way to play EA's game outside of Origin? Is that those games that can be pirated?

Well, I guess it'd be easier if you just listed what games you're looking for and then... search for them on the internet. Just not in the Origin store. Remember, Google is your friend. Steam is also a good bet, as I said before. Some games may be more expensive there, but meh, it's still fine.

But I also really hope that American read my message and got it all and hopefully will make the game more "workable" for everyone.

So yeah... retail copies from Amazon, GameStop or those places. And I'm pretty sure you'll be able to use Steam. They'll be forced to publish it on Steam, just because there's more users there and it means it can hit more potential buyers.
For instance, I think Plants VS Zombies is on Origin and Steam.

If they release it on Steam, there's the chance!

Lol you guys can dream. All EA games require EA account and Origin in order to play. AMR has Origin DRM even on Steam. Old and non-EA games may be able to run without Origin, but that's not what we're dealing with here. I certainly hope this ain't true! Steam is also sooooooo much better and actually functional compared to Origin! Plus, as they released AMR on Steam, it actually worked on there. I hope they'll do the same with the third game!

But then again, the petition got quite the amount of signatures, which EA may have to listen etc to.

But yeah, I hope they do. I mean, if they make the game, they'll get lots of money! And that's what they want, right? There's so many people supporting it already...

I know it's hard to get those nowadays, but seriously... If they were to make new Alice I want that game boxed just for the sake of collection.

I think it's silly to assume there's a huge demand for Alice 3. AMR sold a little over a million copies. Now, that's not a failure by any means, but in the world of AAA gaming, that's not exactly a huge hit. Now, the petition has about 19,000 signatures, and that number is not exactly climbing fast. EA probably is aware of the petition, but won't bat an eye at it because the number is so low. No company in their right mind will toss money around just so a few people are happy. The most we can hope for is some kind of Kickstarter for the game, like major companies are doing recently.
