does anyone know why Ken Wong wasn't on board for Alice: Otherlands?? he was the art director for AMR and he got discovered from that old Alice online comic he made
I wonder how the final product would be different if he were director.

I know absolutely nothing on the topic, but I just have to ask... WHAT ONLINE COMIC? I'm really suprised there is one, and it is an official one as I'm suspecting.

Such a shame to hear that :/ I tried to find the comic myself, but seems there's nothing there or I just can't search for shit xD Either way, back on the topic, I guess...

Ohmygooood YASSS. Thanks so much for the link! <3 Though I think I actually recall seeing this comic before, hmm.... Edit: I didn't. It was a worth-while read, though.

Ken Wong is one of my all time favourites. He is truly one of my biggest artistic loves.
Also, I don't think he actually works at Spicy Horse. He develops apps and such but I'm not sure if he's just freelance or has a company. But I definitely thing he's not 100% attached to Spicy Horse.

So it seems he may not be actually affiliated with Spicy Horse, yet he did quite a bit of artwork for the company's games other than Alice series (including Crazy Fairies and Big Head Bash).

It's on his website it's old, but it says he's the art director at Spicy Horse but I doubt he still is TBH because if he was, then they'd use him for otherlands

Alright. To be honest I never cared enough to read about the Spicy Horse artists .__.

He was the art director of Alice but he didn't work on any other projects I think? I just checked his site and he only has portfolio work for Alice in terms of Spicy Horse. I think he's a freelance so it may have just been for the Madness Returns project.

None of it appears to be in his portfolio, however. He did work on Grimm though. Not sure what his actual role in because he doesn't actually list it as a project he worked on, only shows concept. He's kind of on/off with Spicy Horse but he's not been associated with any recent projects like Akaneiro or Chains of Darkness.

I also wonder why he wasn't on board for Alice: Otherlands, because he would have made it look a lot better, in my personal opinion.

I would have preferred him to do the Otherland's cover art instead of Alex. Maybe a collab would have been awesome considering I love Alex's end pieces.

Ken's art, especially his AMAlice art, it's special. I can't put a finger on it but it has that specialness and all.
